This card was designed for a client that wanted to show their knowledge on a number of animals and animal nutrition, so for the logo I wanted something that showed that rather than telling it. 

Here I show the process of making a logo and then trying to find the perfect way to present it. So color and dynamics have to balance well with each other, and of course the client has to like it as well.

In my case, the client expressed their desire for the bird to be "more bird like". So after some references of bird shapes, I dove back into the project with new ideas. Here are some of those attempts.

Eventually landing on the perfect feather shape, I started finalizing the logo. The client had an eye for the black and white design, so i based the card on the very simplistic idea. 

Overall, the client was happy with my work, which is always a win. Now to find some way to use my knowledge of wing shapes...
